See and correct a Project's exact site location
Matt BesseyYour Project's Site address now shows its exact location on a satellite map. If an address lookup places the pin on the wrong property, you can correct it before anyone travels to the site or starts a design.
Put the pin on the right property
Select Adjust pin, drag the purple pin into place and save it. Payaca keeps the original address lookup visible for comparison, including the distance between the two points. Choose Reset to lookup whenever you want to use that location again.
Where the corrected location is used
- Field journeys: Open in maps and Directions use the corrected pin, helping surveyors, installers and subcontractors reach the right building.
- Design software: Payaca sends the corrected location when you create a linked design in OpenSolar, Easy PV, Heatpunk or Spruce, helping prevent designs being created for the wrong property.
- Shared records: Every Project and Customer record using the same Site address shows the corrected location.
A correction that sticks
Payaca keeps the corrected pin through small address edits and failed lookups, so you do not need to place it again.
If Payaca cannot find usable coordinates for an address, the card shows a clear message instead of placing a pin at an incorrect location. Open in maps and Directions remain available using the address text, so you can check the address and postcode.
Open any Project in the Payaca web app and look for the map on its Site address card.
